Very rare and high-quality Assam broken teas are blended to create this absolute top quality tea. The East Frisian Gold Tips blend (also known as East Frisian Gold Tips or East Frisian Gold Leaf blend) is a high-quality black tea blend known for its strong, malty aroma and traditionally enjoyed in East Frisia. This high-quality Assam tea blend is characterized by the use of premium, malty Assam and sometimes spicy Sumatra teas. The name “Goldspitzen” (gold tips) derives from the many gold-colored leaf tips in the dry tea leaf. Preparation: Traditionally, the tea is poured over Kluntje (white rock sugar), followed by a “cloud” of cream added with a special spoon. The tea is traditionally not stirred.
